Everyone has a story, and the LGBTQ Center’s Speakers Bureau gives students the opportunity to tell theirs.
The Speakers Bureau is made up of undergraduate and graduate students who are committed to sharing their personal experiences as LGBTQ students or allies in order to educate our campus community.
Students share experiences of coming out, facing rejection and discrimination, finding community and support, and much more as they speak in various spaces about their identities.
Speakers Bureau members receive training in using narratives as tools for education and social change, and they have the opportunity to share their stories in many different settings.
