D.E.A.C. Allies is the central platform for education and skill building offered by the LGBTQ+ Center. The D.E.A.C. Allies approach centers LGBTQ+ voices across intersections of identity and focuses on the facilitation of narrative sharing, the generation and acquisition of knowledge, and the development of practical skills for participants.
The D.E.A.C. Allies program is currently open to registrants for Spring 2022.
D.E.A.C. Allies: LGBTQ+ 101
LGBTQ+ 101 is the first workshop in the current series and offers a general introduction into the LGBTQ+ community, including expanding and questioning assumptions, discussing terminology, and analyzing the experiences of LGBTQ people within our communities. Visit Workday Learning to register.

D.E.A.C. Allies: The Gender Binary and Beyond
The Gender Binary and Beyond is the second workshop in the current series and will center on gender, including gender identity, gender expression, and analyzing the myriad ways individuals may experience gender. Skill Development and Practice is the third workshop in the current series and will be primarily focused on providing space for D.E.A.C. Allies to put their knowledge into practice.
